Founded in 1983 to address the need for affordable quality before and after school care open door stands strong retaining school age care as its singular focus. Open door provides monthly activities summer camps and mission trips for kids of ages 7 18 mission trips coming soon 2019 2020. We believe that everyone in our community should have the opportunity to benefit from ymca programs and services. Open door school age programming will be participating in the newly announced academic support centers in baltimore county schools where open door centers are located.
