We offer support effective services and a safe place for youth and their families so they have the connection and supports they need to succeed.

Open door center for change was founded by a group of dedicated professionals in 2010. Counsellors assess how factors in a child or family members life might be affecting their well being and are able to propose a treatment plan to help address those factors. We help on average 4 500 people each year. Open door is funded by local health services in birmingham to provide up to six sessions of counselling for young people aged 12 25.

Open doors youth reengagement wac 392 700 is a reengagement system that provides education and services to older youth ages 16 21 who have dropped out of school or are not expected to graduate from high school by the age of 21 open doors reengages disconnected youth through programs that encourage community partnerships create multiple pathways for students to realize success and provide. It has been helping our community for 30 years through residential prevention and outreach programs that add positive influences to the lives of our young people. Open door youth services exists to respond to the needs and promote the healthy development of vulnerable children and youth. Open door is a leading provider of person centred counselling and has been offering a calm confidential space for people to talk for over 50 years. Our mission was to build a clinic that served the therapy needs of our community with high quality openness and respect. Since 1978 open door provided much needed valued services for the people in thurrock.

The counselling sessions won t cost you anything. If after those initial six sessions you wish to continue with counselling you will be able to self refer for our fee paying counselling service.
